Gregory (PhD) is the Head of the Europol Innovation Lab whose mission is to help the European law enforcement community to make the most of emerging technologies by developing innovative solutions to improve the ways in which they investigate, track and disrupt terrorist and criminal organizations.
Gregory (PhD) is the Head of the Europol Innovation Lab whose mission is to help the European law enforcement community to make the most of emerging technologies by developing innovative solutions to improve the ways in which they investigate, track and disrupt terrorist and criminal organizations. The Lab spearheads numerous research projects and collaborates closely with law enforcement agencies to develop advanced investigative tools. The Lab team focus primarily on harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence to support criminal investigators across Europe.
Gregory joined Europol as a policy advisor in the office of the Director of Europol in 2007. He then led Europol’s External and Strategic Affairs team where he was in charge of the cooperation with the US, the European Parliament and advised on cybercrime and terrorism policies. Gregory became Head of Outreach at the European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) in 2016 where he was responsible for the cooperation with the private sector. He led Europol’s engagement on Global Internet Governance (encryption, DNS, IP space) and represented Europol at ICANN, RIPE and IETF.
