2024 edition: Geopolitical Europe 2030

The first edition of the Genval Forum focused on EU-level progress in artificial intelligence, defense, and the intersection thereof, in a conversation with top European and NATO decision-makers, strategic allies, industry, and academia. The conversations were structured around the future of transatlantic relations, European challenges and priorities to 2030 (NATO, Deepmind), Allied coordination in supervising AI (US AISI, UK AISI, EU AI Office), priorities for the incoming Commission, innovation at the frontier of AI (Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark), Ukraine and Moldova integration (Gavrilita, Chentsov), investment in AI (General Catalyst, Temasek, RAND), and the European Defence Union (NATO, DG-DEFIS, Fincantieri, Boeing).
